Lager Battered Saffron Shrimp
- 1 whole Lemon
- 1 Tablespoon Saffron
- 1 cup Flour
- 1 bottle Wheat Beer, 12 Ounce Bottle
- 1 Tablespoon Salt
- 1 whole Egg White
- 12 whole Jumbo Shrimp
- 4 cups, 3 tablespoons, 1-78 teaspoons, 1/4 pinches Vegetable Oil, For Frying
- Mix juice of one lemon and saffron in a small bowl.
- Let it infuse.
- Mix flour, beer, salt, egg white into a bowl and beat until mixture is smooth.
- Add saffron juice to bowl.
- Mix again.
- Dip shrimp into batter, then into 350 degree preheated oil and fry until golden brown.
