Alaina's Best Oatmeal Raisin Cookies
- 12 teaspoon salt
- 12 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 cup flour
- 12 cup butter
- 6 tablespoons brown sugar
- 6 tablespoons white sugar
- 1 egg
- 12 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 12 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 cup blended oatmeal (in a blender)
- 12 cup raisins
- Sift salt, baking soda and flour together; set aside.
- Cream butter, add brown sugar, white sugar, a little at a time, creaming after each addition until mixture is nice and fluffy.
- Add egg and vanilla.
- Beat well.
- Add sifted ingredients and mix.
- Add cinnamon, blended oatmeal and raisins; mix well.
- Drop by rounded tablespoons 2 inches apart on a greased cookie sheet.
- Bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 10 to 13 minutes until slightly browned.
- Cool cookies and store in an airtight container.
