Blackwolf Run's Corn Sausage Chowder Recipe
- 1 pound bulk pork sausage
- 1 c. coarsely minced onion
- 4 c. 1/2 in. cubed potatoes
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon marjoram, crushed
- 1.8 teaspoon pepper
- 2 c. water
- 1 can cream style corn
- 1 can whole kernel corn
- 1 can evaporated lowfat milk
- In Dutch oven or possibly kettle, cook sausage and onion till sausage is brown and onions are tender.
- drain on paper towel.
- Return to Dutch oven with potato, seasonings and water.
- Bring to boiling.
- Reduce heat and simmer just till potatoes are tender 15 to 20 min.
- Add in corns and lowfat milk and heat to serving temperature.
