Classic French Toast

  1. Combine half & half, eggs and vanilla in bowl.
  2. Beat with fork or whisk until well mixed.
  3. Melt 1 tablespoon butter in 10-inch nonstick skillet over medium heat until sizzling.
  4. Dip 4 bread slices, using tongs or fork, into egg mixture, turning to allow egg mixture to slightly soak both sides.
  5. Place into hot skillet.
  6. Cook, turning once, 1-2 minutes or until golden brown.
  7. Immediately remove to serving plate; keep warm.
  8. Repeat with remaining 1 tablespoon butter and bread slices.
  9. Serve warm with Butter with Canola Oil and maple syrup, if desired.
