Classic French Toast
- 1/3 cup Land O Lakes Half & Half
- 3 Land O Lakes Eggs, slightly beaten
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 tablespoons Land O Lakes Butter
- 8 (1 inch thick) slices French bread
- Land O Lakes Butter with Canola Oil
- Maple syrup, if desired
- Combine half & half, eggs and vanilla in bowl.
- Beat with fork or whisk until well mixed.
- Melt 1 tablespoon butter in 10-inch nonstick skillet over medium heat until sizzling.
- Dip 4 bread slices, using tongs or fork, into egg mixture, turning to allow egg mixture to slightly soak both sides.
- Place into hot skillet.
- Cook, turning once, 1-2 minutes or until golden brown.
- Immediately remove to serving plate; keep warm.
- Repeat with remaining 1 tablespoon butter and bread slices.
- Serve warm with Butter with Canola Oil and maple syrup, if desired.
