Cheese Custard Pie - Cheese Custard Pie or Flan

  1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees (175 C.).
  2. Scald the milk or cream over high heat.
  3. Reduce the heat and add the shredded cheese, stir until melted.
  4. Add salt, paprika, onion, cayenne.
  5. Remove mixture from heat and beat in 1 egg at a time.
  6. Fill pie crust and bake it until the custard is firm, about 45 minutes.
