Fried Rice

  1. Heat oil in large skillet or wok.
  2. Add meat (cut in thin strips or small pieces), garlic, onion, salt, pepper, sugar and soy sauce.
  3. Stir-fry until meat is tender and hot, about 1 to 2 minutes.
  4. Add rice.
  5. Stir-fry 5 minutes.
  6. Add peas and carrots. Stir well into rice-meat mixture.
  7. Push rice-meat mixture to sides of skillet or wok; add beaten eggs and cook briefly before stirring through rice-meat mixture.
  8. Continue to stir until eggs are completely cooked.
  9. Serve immediately.
  10. Serves 4.
