Orka Chowder

  1. Saute onion, green pepper and celery butter olive oil until onion is transparent.
  2. Add chicken broth, tomato puree, bay leaves, marjoram, thyme, basil and juniper berries.
  3. Simmer cover about 30 minutes.
  4. Add sliced okra, garlic, sugar and Tabasco sauce.
  5. Simmer 15 minutes.
  6. Add wine, heavy cream and salt to taste.
  7. Remove bay leaves before serving.
