Mexican Won Tons

  1. Brown the ground beef, onion and poblano pepper.
  2. Drain and stir in beans, cheese, chiopotle, adobo sauce, ketchup, chili powder and cumin; mix well.
  3. Spoon a generous teaspoon of filling in the center of each won ton wrapper.
  4. Brush edges of wrapper with egg white.
  5. Fold the wrappers diagnonally and press all edges together to seal.
  6. FRIED WON TONS:.
  7. Fry a few at a time in hot oil (375 degrees), turning once, until golden brown, about 1 minute.
  8. Drain on a paper towel.
  9. BAKED WON TONS:.
  10. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  11. Place filled won tons o cookie sheet and spray with non-stick cooking spray (PAM).
  12. Baked until crispy brown, about 5 minutes., turn and continue baking for a couple more minutes.
  13. Serve warm with salsa and/or guacamole.
