Italian Beef

  1. Place a roast, frozen or thawed, in a crock pot.
  2. Pour beer over the roast, followed by the Italian seasoning packets.
  3. I use one packet per two pounds of roast.
  4. Cook overnight on high or for at least 6 hours.
  5. Tear meat apart and remove any bones or excess fat.
  6. Cook an additional 2-3 hours on high or up to 8 hours on low.
  7. Serve on bread or buns of your choice.
  8. Provolone cheese is a great addition to the sandwich.
