Spiced Pear Infusion

  1. To roast pears, core and halve them and wrap them in aluminum foil.
  2. Roast in a preheated 350F oven for about 25 minutes, or until the pears start to sweat and soften.
  3. When cool enough to handle, cut into slices.
  4. In a clean, dry jar, combine the sliced roasted pears and all other ingredients.
  5. Let sit for at least 48 hours.
  6. If a stronger pear flavor is desired, let sit for another 48 hours.
  7. Strain liquor and bottle.
