Skillet Chili
- 1- 1/2 pound Ground Beef
- 1 cup Onion, Chopped
- 1/2 cups Green Pepper, Chopped
- 1 Tablespoon Minced Garlic
- 2 teaspoons Chili Powder
- 1 teaspoon Dried Oregano
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1/2 teaspoons Black Pepper
- 1 cup Cooked White Rice
- 15 ounces, weight Canned Diced Tomatoes
- 15 ounces, weight Canned Chili Beans
- 15 ounces, weight Canned Corn, Drained
- 1/2 cups Black Olives Sliced
- 1 cup Cheddar Cheese, Shredded
- In a large skillet over medium high heat, cook beef until meat is brown.
- Add onion, pepper and garlic and cook until tender.
- Stir in chili powder, oregano, salt and pepper.
- Add rice, tomatoes, chili beans, corn and black olives.
- Cover and simmer for 15 minutes.
- Remove from heat.
- Sprinkle with cheese and let it melt.
- Serves 4-6.
