Sugar-Free Diabetic Bars

  1. Boil water, raisins, cinnamon, nutmeg and oil 3 minutes.
  2. Set aside to cool.
  3. Mix warm water, soda, sweetener, salt and baking powder.
  4. Set aside.
  5. Beat 1 egg well.
  6. Add second mixture.
  7. Mix well.
  8. Add applesauce and first mixture; beat well.
  9. Blend in flour.
  10. If needed, use more applesauce to make batter.
  11. Add nuts. Bake at 350u0b0 about 30 minutes in a 10 x 15-inch pan.
  12. When cool, cut into bars.
