Ptak's Swedish Meatballs
- 2 lbs lean ground beef
- 1 78 ounces onion soup mix
- 12 cup breadcrumbs
- 14 cup ketchup
- 1 tablespoon A.1. Original Sauce
- 1 egg
- 12 cup milk
- 1 (10 3/4 ounce) can cream of mushroom soup
- 2 (18 ounce) jars beef gravy
- 12 cup sour cream
- Mix egg into milk in a large mixing bowl.
- Add meats, celery salt, onion soup, bread crumbs, ketchup and steak sauce and mix well.
- Shape mixture into balls.
- Place in large skillet with about 1/2 inch of water.
- Cover and cook until browned.
- In a crock pot, mix together gravy, sour cream and mushroom soup.
- Add meatballs and cook for at least 2 hours, but can be left all day.
- Serve over mashed potatoes, rice or egg noodles.
