Stovetop Clambake

  1. Get a charcoal grill going.
  2. Lay down a bed of seaweed in a large metal pot or wash tub.
  3. Add a layer of potatoes, then corn, then lobsters and finally clams.
  4. Pour the salt water and beer over everything.
  5. Cover pot with a lid and place it directly down onto hot coals.
  6. Cook for about 15-20 minutes.
  7. Discard any clams that do not open.
  8. Split lobsters in half.
