Mesquite-Crusted Shepherd's Pie
- 1-1/2 lb. lean ground beef
- 1/2 cup chopped onions King Sooper's 1 lb For $0.99 thru 02/09
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup KRAFT Mexican Style Finely Shredded Four Cheese
- 1 pkt. SHAKE N BAKE Seasoned Panko Seasoned Coating Mix
- 1 Tbsp. A.1. Dry Rub Sweet Mesquite BBQ
- 1-1/2 cups frozen mixed vegetables (carrots, corn, green beans, peas), thawed
- 1 can (8 oz.) tomato sauce
- 3 cups warm mashed potatoes
- Heat oven to 375 degrees F.
- Brown meat with onions and garlic in large skillet; drain.
- Return meat mixture to skillet.
- Combine cheese, coating mix and Dry Rub.
- Add half the cheese mixture to meat mixture along with the mixed vegetables and tomato sauce; stir.
- Cook 5 min.
- or until heated through, stirring frequently.
- Spoon into 2-qt.
- casserole sprayed with cooking spray; cover with potatoes.
- Top with remaining cheese mixture.
- Bake 20 min.
- or until heated through.
