Apple Bbq Briskit Recipe

  1. Mix wine, beer, vinegar, cider, honey, mustard, soy sauce, molasses, garlic, salt & pepper, ginger root in Dutch oven or possibly heavy roasting pan.
  2. Add in the brisket.
  3. Cover & place in oven.
  4. Be sure to pre-heat oven to 375 degrees F and cook for 50 min.
  5. Remove brisket from cooking liquid, cover and set aside.
  6. Transfer liquid to a pan & cook over medium heat till reduced to a glaze and fairly thick.
  7. Use a covered grill get coals & either hickory, apple, or possibly mesquite going & smoke the brisket 1 hour.
  8. Turn the meat & brush on a glaze of sauce every 20 min.
  9. Be sure to keep the coals going!
