Frosted Pimiento Cheese Rolls

  1. Stir the onion into the water; let stand for 5 minutes.
  2. Beat together the margarine, mayonnaise and cheese.
  3. Mix in the onion, pimiento and parsley.
  4. Spread one side of each bread slice with cheese mixture.
  5. (Soften cheese mixture in microwave a bit to make it easier to spread.)
  6. Roll each bread slice like a jelly roll. Place close together (sides touching) on baking sheets with sides. Spread tops with remaining cheese mixture.
  7. Just before serving, bake at 350u0b0 until rolls are golden brown, 10 to 12 minutes. Makes 100 to 120.
