Fried Pizza Dough with Garlic Butter

  1. Heat oil on medium heat until it reaches about 350 degrees F.
  2. Meanwhile, roll out dough.
  3. Shower cutting board with some flour, then lay out dough and roll it out into about 1/2 inch thick.
  4. Using bench scraper or knife, cut dough into strips, then slice strips in half.
  5. Aim for about 3 or 4 inches in length.
  6. Add butter and garlic powder to a bowl.
  7. Melt in microwave, or on a pot on the stove.
  8. Once oil is heated, add a handful of dough strips and cook for about 23 minutes or until light golden brown.
  9. Remove with a slotted spoon and place on a paper-lined plate to let any excess oil drain.
  10. Brush some garlic butter onto fried pizza dough, and shower with Parmesan cheese.
  11. Repeat.
  12. Go buy or make some more pizza dough, because these things are so addicting, you will want more.
