Soft Chocolate Chunk Cookies
- 1 c. plus 2 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 c. (1 stick) butter
- 1/3 c. smooth peanut butter
- 1/2 c. granulated sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 1/4 c. walnuts or peanuts, chopped
- 1 (12 oz.) pkg. chocolate chunks
- Preheat oven to 325u0b0.
- Lightly grease 2 baking sheets. Combine flour and baking soda.
- Beat butter, peanut butter, granulated sugar and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
- Beat in egg and vanilla.
- Stir in flour mixture, walnuts or peanuts and chocolate.
- Drop 2 tablespoons batter per cookie onto prepared sheets, spacing 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 15 to 17 minutes, or until golden brown around edges.
- Cool on sheets for about 3 minutes.
- Transfer to racks to cool.
