Sausage Kraut Skillet Recipe
- 1 med. potato, sliced 1/4 inch thick
- 2 carrots, thinly sliced
- 1/4 c. minced onion
- 1 clove garlic, chopped
- 1 (8 ounce.) can sauerkraut
- 6 ounce. fully cooked smoked turkey sausage links
- 1/4 c. beer
- 1 tbsp. brown mustard
- Snipped parsley
- Combine potatoes, carrot, onion, garlic, and 1/4 c. water in a medium skillet.
- Bring to boiling; reduce heat.
- Simmer, covered, for 10 min.
- Rinse sauerkraut; drain well.
- Cut sausage in half lengthwise; slice 1/2 inch thick.
- Add in sauerkraut, sausage, beer, and mustard to skillet.
- Cover and cook 5 - 10 min or possibly till vegetables are tender.
- Sprinkle with parsley.
- Serves 2.
