Bistro Tuna Melt

  1. Mix tuna and 3 cups of the sauce (or 1 Tbsp.
  2. of the sauce for the trial recipe) until well blended.
  3. For each serving: Spread 1 bread slice with 1 Tbsp.
  4. of the sauce; top with 1/3 cup (#12 scoop) of the tuna mixture, 2 bacon slices and 1 process cheese slice.
  5. Cover with second bread slice.
  6. Heat greased flat top griddle to 375F.
  7. Add sandwich; cook 1 to 2 minutes on each side or until sandwich is golden brown on both sides and process cheese is melted.
  8. Cut diagonally in half to serve.
  9. Insert 4-inch frilled toothpick into each half to secure.
  10. Serve immediately.
