Bistro Tuna Melt
- 1 gal. Canned tuna, well drained, flaked
- 1-1/2 qt. GREY POUPON Bistro Sauce, divided
- 96 slices pumpernickel bread slices
- 96 slices OSCAR MAYER 18-22 Slice Count Raw Bacon Flat Pak, crisply cooked, drained
- 48 slices KRAFT Pasteurized Process Swiss Cheese Slice
- Mix tuna and 3 cups of the sauce (or 1 Tbsp.
- of the sauce for the trial recipe) until well blended.
- For each serving: Spread 1 bread slice with 1 Tbsp.
- of the sauce; top with 1/3 cup (#12 scoop) of the tuna mixture, 2 bacon slices and 1 process cheese slice.
- Cover with second bread slice.
- Heat greased flat top griddle to 375F.
- Add sandwich; cook 1 to 2 minutes on each side or until sandwich is golden brown on both sides and process cheese is melted.
- Cut diagonally in half to serve.
- Insert 4-inch frilled toothpick into each half to secure.
- Serve immediately.
