All American Jello Dessert(Great For 4Th Of July)
- 4 c. boiling water
- 1 pkg. (8 serving) red Jell-O
- 1 pkg. (8 serving) blue Jell-O
- 2 c. cold water
- 2 (8 oz.) tubs Cool Whip
- 1 Entenmann's all butter pound loaf, cubed
- 2 c. sliced strawberries
- 1 container blueberries
- Stir 2 cups boiling water into each flavor of gelatin in separate bowls until completely dissolved.
- Stir 1 cup cold water into each bowl.
- Pour into 2 separate 13 x 9-inch pans. Refrigerate at least 3 hours until firm.
- Cut into 1/2-inch cubes (may cut a star out of each color for decoration on top).
- Put into clear bowl, blue Jell-O on bottom, Cool Whip, blueberries, pound cake, strawberries, Cool Whip, red Jell-O and a dash of Cool Whip on top and stars if desired.
- Refrigerate at least 1 hour or until ready to serve.
