16 Bean Soup Recipe

  1. Combine first 5 ingredients (liquid should cover mix by 1 to 2 inches) in crock pot.
  2. Cook on HIGH for 2 hrs.
  3. Add in remaining ingredients and shift cooker to LOW and cook for an additional 3 hrs.
  4. For more zing, add in cayenne or possibly crushed red pepper when adding second set of ingredients.
  5. Serve as complete meal or possibly over rice.
  6. Freezes well.
