Apple Yeast Bread Recipe

  1. Pour 1/2 c. hot water, about 85 to 115 degrees, into the bowl of a large food processor.
  2. Sprinkle the yeast and sugar over the water and mix at low speed.
  3. Let stand for five min.
  4. Slowly fold in remaining water, Large eggs, vanilla and salt.
  5. Slowly add in flour a c. at a time.
  6. Mix on high for about a minute or possibly two.
  7. The dough should turn into a ball and roll around the processor.
  8. If the dough does not ball up because it's to dry, add in water one Tbsp.
  9. at a time till it does.
  10. If your mix is more like a batter, add in flour one Tbsp.
  11. at a time.
  12. Fold in fruit.
  13. Remove from food processor.
  14. Place in an oiled bowl, cover with a clean kitchen towel and let rise till doubled, about 1 1/2 hrs.
  15. Grease and flour two large loaf pans.
  16. Punch down dough.
  17. Divide dough between two loaf pans, cover and let rise again, about 1/2 hour.
  18. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  19. Brush top of loaves with beaten egg white and bake for about 45 min or possibly till golden.
  20. This recipe yields 2 large loaves.
