Super Easy French Dip
- 1 lb thinly sliced roast beef from the deli
- 8 slice provolone cheese
- 10 1/2 oz beef broth
- 3 tbsp worcestershire sauce
- 1 long french bread loaf or 4 hoagie rolls
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup prepared horseradish, give or take based on how spicy you like
- in a medium saucepan simmer broth and worcestershire sauce, reducing slightly to a light bodied sauce, about 15 minutes.
- add the sliced roast beef and simmer 5 minutes
- preheat oven to 350. slice french loaf into four portions and split loaf in the middle, I leave one side intact for easier eating.
- dress with horseradish sauce, setting aside any remainder for dipping
- place split loaves on a baking sheet and heap with roast beef, top with cheese.
- place in oven until cheese is melted.
- enjoy with extra horseradish sauce and servings of broth for dipping
