Meat Cakes Recipe

  1. To Coat: Beaten egg and bread crumbs
  2. To Fry: Lard
  3. Garnish: Parsley
  4. Remove any fat from meat.
  5. Mix meat and onion.
  6. Mix all ingredients except egg together.
  7. Bind with a little beaten egg.
  8. Form into a roll on a floured board.
  9. Cut into 8 pcs and shape into cake (1/2") thick.
  10. Coat with egg crumbs.
  11. Fry in warm oil till both sides are brown.
  12. Drain and serve garnished with parsley.
