Hamburger Pie
- 2 lb. hamburger meat
- 1 medium green pepper, chopped
- 1 medium sweet red pepper, chopped
- 2 Tbsp. olive oil
- 3 c. brown rice, cooked
- 4 or 5 medium tomatoes, peeled and chopped
- 1 can whole kernel corn
- 1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
- 2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 2 Tbsp. Everglades seasoning
- 2 Tbsp. fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 1/2 c. soft bread crumbs
- 3 Tbsp. butter or margarine, melted
- Brown hamburger meat; drain.
- In a skillet, saute peppers in oil for 3 minutes.
- Place hamburger and sauteed peppers in 3-quart casserole.
- Add next 7 ingredients, mixing well.
- Combine bread crumbs and sprinkle with butter.
- Place on top of mixture.
- Bake, uncovered, at 350u0b0 for 30 to 40 minutes or until heated thoroughly.
