Cheesy Roasted Red Pepper Turkey Burgers with Caramelized Onions
- 2 cloves Garlic, Minced
- 2 Tablespoons Olive Oil
- 1- 1/4 pound Ground Turkey (93/7)
- 3 Tablespoons Worcestershire Sauce
- 1/2 teaspoons Salt
- 1/2 teaspoons Freshly Ground Black Pepper
- 1 teaspoon Italian Seasoning (dried)
- 4 ounces, weight Monterey Jack, Cheddar Or Mozzarella Cheese, Shredded
- 1 whole Roasted Red Pepper
- 1 whole Onion, Caramelized
- 4 whole Potato Rolls
- 1.
- Saute garlic in oil for 2-3 minutes.
- Reserve oil.

- Combine ground turkey, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, Italian seasoning and garlic.
- 3.
- Form into compact patties, being careful not to handle them too much.
- Makes 4 normal-sized patties or 8 sliders.

- Place on an oiled grill or grill pan over medium heat.
- 5.
- Cook for about 5 minutes on one side.
- 6.
- Carefully flip (only once) and allow to cook until the internal temperature reaches 160-170 degrees F. about 5 minutes.
- 7.
- Top the burgers with cheese.
- When cheese begins to melt, remove the burgers from the heat.
- 8.
- Brush the rolls using oil from the sauteed garlic.
- Toast the rolls on the grill briefly.
- 9.
- Place the burger on a bun and top with roasted red peppers and caramelized onions.
- Top with bun.
- Tasty served with balsamic mayo!
