Crescent Italiano Bake
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1/2 c. chopped onions
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
- 1 (8 oz.) can mushroom stems and pieces, drained
- 1 c. (4 oz.) shredded Cheddar cheese
- 1 (8 oz.) can quick crescent dinner rolls
- 1/2 c. dairy sour cream
- 1/4 tsp. oregano, crushed
- 1/4 tsp. rosemary or basil
- In skillet, brown ground meat and onion; drain.
- Add salt, pepper, tomato sauce and mushrooms.
- Pour into a 12 x 8-inch baking dish; sprinkle with grated cheese. Separate crescent dough into 8 triangles.
- Combine sour cream and herbs; spread on top of meat mixture.
- Top with crescent dough.
- Bake at 375u0b0 for 25 to 30 minutes, until dough is golden brown.
