Slow Cooker Kalua Pork
- 4 pounds Pork Butt Or Shoulder
- 1 Tablespoon Hawaiian Red Alaea Sea Salt
- 1 Tablespoon Black Hawaiian Sea Salt
- 5 cloves Garlic, Smashed
- 2 Tablespoons Liquid Smoke
- Sprinkle and rub all sides of pork butt with sea salts and place in slow cooker.
- Add garlic and Liquid Smoke.
- Note, that this will seem like there is not a lot of liquid, but it is enough.
- Put the lid on and cook on low for 12 to 16 hours.
- Since my slow cooker doesnt go up to 12 to 16 hours, I started this before I went to bed, cooked it for 8 hours, then started my slow cooker over again in the morning, cooking for 6 more hours.
- Remove pork from slow cooker and shred with forks.
- Serve and enjoy!
