Pepsi Pulled Pork

  1. Set the roast inside a slow cooker.
  2. Add the spices.
  3. Add the Pepsi.
  4. Cover and turn on the low setting.
  5. It will take 8 to 10 hours depending on the size of your roast.
  6. (Mine was small so it took about 8 hours.)
  7. When it looks done, pull it apart.
  8. I did it right in the slow cooker.
  9. Youre not cutting so its fine to do it this way and therell be less cleanup later, which is nice.
  10. Take two forks and start pulling the meat apart.
  11. Its really easy to do; dont be intimidated by this step.
  12. It pretty much just falls apart anyway.
  13. Now add your barbecue sauce.
  14. I covered it back up and cooked it for another 20 or so minutes to let the flavors of the sauce soak into the meat.
  15. Now you can start piling the meat on burger buns.
  16. Serve with a smile and about a thousand napkins.
  17. So good but SO messy.
