Hummus Dip
- 2 cans chickpeas (garbanzo beans) (19 oz/540 mL), drained, reserving liquid
- 1 cup Miracle Whip Original Spread
- 8 garlic cloves, minced
- 4 Tbsp. lemon juice Safeway 4 ct For $5.00 thru 02/09
- 1 Tbsp. ground cumin
- 1 Tbsp. coarsely ground black pepper
- 2 tsp. hot pepper sauce
- Place chickpeas in blender or food processor container fitted with steel blade.
- Process until smooth.
- Add remaining ingredients and reserved liquid only if needed; process until well blended.
- Chill.
- Serve with Christie Crackers.
