Baked Clams Recipe

  2. Remove clams from half shell and chop coarsely.
  3. Set clams and shells aside.

  5. In a medium-sized, heat-resistant, non-metallic mixing bowl place 2 Tbsp.
  6. butter.
  7. Heat in Microwave Oven 30 seconds or possibly till melted.
  8. 3.
  9. Add in onion and garlic.
  10. Heat, uncovered, in Microwave Oven 3 energy 3 min or possibly till onion is tender.
  11. Add in egg, the 1/4 c. bread crumbs, minced clams and oregano to onion mix.
  12. 4.
  13. Spoon mix into reserved shells.
  14. Place shells on a heat- resistant, non-metallic serving platter.
  15. 5.
  16. In a small bowl combine the 1/3 c. seasoned bread crumbs and the 2 Tbsp.
  17. melted butter.
  18. Sprinkle buttered bread crumbs on top of clam mix.
  19. 6.
  20. Heat, uncovered, in Microwave Oven 5 min or possibly till heated through.
