Sticky chocolate loaf

  1. In a pan, melt the butter and syrup together on a low heat, stir occasionally.
  2. When melted, remove from the heat and add the chocolate either in pieces or roughly chopped.
  3. Mix together the dry ingredients.
  4. Add the milk and the egg to the dry ingredients and combine it slightly.
  5. Add your butter-syrup-chocolate mix to the flour mix and stir together.
  6. Line a bread pan with parchment papper and pour in your chocolate mixture.
  7. Bake your cake at 170F celsius (338 F) for 35 minutes.
  8. Then cover your cake with aluminium foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes.
  9. Take out your cake and let it cool completely before lifting it out of the bread pan.
  10. Then dust with icing sugar and enjoy!
