Meat Pie

  1. Combine the first 4 ingredients and season with remaining ingredients.
  2. Bring to simmer and add 1 tablespoon cornstarch dissolved in 1 tablespoon water.
  3. Stir until thickened.
  4. Place filling in 2 (9-inch) pie crusts; cover with top crust and brush with cream or rich milk.
  5. Crimp edges and pierce top crust in several places.
  6. Bake in preheated 425u0b0 for 20 minutes.
  7. Lower heat to 350u0b0 and continue to bake until golden brown.
  8. Freezes well.
  9. Serve with a green salad.
