Mom's Vegetable Soup Recipe

  1. In 12 qt pan boil beef, bones, cabbage.
  2. Skim.
  3. Boil 1/2 hour.
  4. Add in tomatoes, onion, celery, rutabaga.
  5. Cook another 1/2 hour.
  6. Add in frzn vegetables and butter.
  7. Cook till tender.
  8. Keep lid on pot at all times.
  9. Mr. Scott (a chef) said the secret to a good soup is butter.
  10. Serves family of 12 and some to freeze.
