Baked Clams
- 25 doz. Live medium clams
- 1-1/2 cups onions, chopped King Sooper's 1 lb For $0.99 thru 02/09
- 3/4 cup garlic, minced
- 1-1/2 cups butter
- 3/4 cup GREY POUPON Country Dijon Mustard
- 1-1/4 gal. Fresh white bread crumbs
- 1-1/2 cups fresh parsley, minced
- 1 cup KRAFT Grated Parmesan Cheese
- Wash clams; drain.
- Discard any clams with opened shells.
- Steam clams in 1/2 inch water until clams open.
- Remove immediately; place in ice water to cool.
- Discard any clams with closed shells.
- Remove empty shell side of each clam, leaving clam in remaining half shell.
- Refrigerate until chilled.
- Saute onion and garlic in butter 2 minutes or until tender.
- Stir in mustard.
- Add bread crumbs and parsley; mix lightly.
- Cover.
- Refrigerate until chilled.
- Spoon about 1-1/2 tsp.
- of the bread mixture over clam in each shell; sprinkle with cheese.
- Place on sheet pan.
- Bake in 375F-convection oven for 10 to 15 minutes or until lightly browned and heated through.
- Place 6 clams on each serving plate.
