Easy Cheeeesy Macaroni & Cheese

  1. Cook macaroni noodles according to package directions.
  2. Preheat oven to 350F.
  3. Meanwhile, melt butter in a large saucepan over medium heat.
  4. Add flour and whisk together to make a roux.
  5. Add evaporated milk and continue to heat and whisk until slightly thickened.
  6. Add Imperial cheese and cheese slices.
  7. Whisk until melted.
  8. Add salt & pepper to taste, if desired.
  9. Stir in macaroni.
  10. Pour into casserole dish and top with bread crumbs.
  11. Bake for 20 minutes or just until bubbly.
