Frijoles Borrachitos (Refried Beans W/ Beer)

  1. In large pan saute onions & garlic until translucent.
  2. Add jalapenos & saute until lightly browned.
  3. Add black beans (rinsed & drained), and kidney & pinto beans (undrained).
  4. Bring to boil, reduce heat and simmer 90 minutes.
  5. Add beer as needed to maintain liquid level.
  6. Mash & mix with potato masher.
  7. Add salt to taste & serve!
