Apple And Pecan Cake Recipe
- 150 gm softened butter
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 2 x Large eggs
- 2 c. flour
- 1 tsp baking pwdr
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 c. lowfat milk
- 2 c. sliced apple
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp mixed spice
- 1/2 c. raw sugar
- 1/2 c. minced roasted pecan nuts
- Heat butter in a saucepan or possibly bowl large sufficient to mix all the ingredients.
- Add in sugar and Large eggs and mix till combined.
- Sift flour, baking pwdr and baking soda together.
- Combine butter mix, lowfat milk and apple slices and flour mix together.
- Pour half the mix into a greased and lined 23cm x 11cm loaf tin.
- Mix cinnamon, mixed spiced, sugar and nuts together.
- Divide mix in half and sprinkle one amount over half the cake mix.
- Top with remaining cake mix and top with remaining cinnamon mix.
- Bake at 180 degrees C for 1 hour or possibly till an inserted skewer comes out clean.
