White Meat and Beans
- 1 pound Dry Great Northern Beans
- 4 cups Reduced Sodium Chicken Broth
- 1 whole Large Onion, Chopped
- 1 teaspoon (heaping) Minced Garlic
- 2 teaspoons Ground Cumin
- 1- 1/2 teaspoon Oregano
- 1 teaspoon Ground Coriander
- 18 teaspoons Ground Cloves
- 18 teaspoons Cayenne Pepper
- 4 ounces, weight Green Chilies
- 1 cup Chopped Cooked Chicken
- 1/2 packages (16 Oz. Package) Turkey Kielbasa, Sliced
- Soak beans in water overnight; drain.
- Place beans in the slow cooker.
- Cover with broth, onion, garlic, and seasonings.
- Mix together and cook on low for 7-8 hours.
- Add chilies, chicken, and kielbasa; cook for another hour.
- Serves 6.
