Hibiscus-Tequila Cocktails

  1. In a medium saucepan, bring the water to a boil.
  2. Add the hibiscus flowers and boil for 1 minute.
  3. Cover and remove from the heat.
  4. Let steep for 15 minutes.
  5. Strain the tea into a bowl and stir in the sugar until dissolved.
  6. Refrigerate until well chilled.
  7. Stir the tequila, lime juice and hot sauce into the tea.
  8. Pour into ice-filled highball glasses and serve.
