Beef And Noodles

  1. Brown meat in shortening in a large frying pan.
  2. Sprinkle onion soup mix over top, then stir in; stir in water, parsley flakes, garlic powder, oregano and pepper.
  3. Heat to boiling; cover.
  4. Simmer 1 1/2 hours, or until meat is tender.
  5. Stir about 1/2 cup of the hot sauce into sour cream in a small bowl; stir back into mixture in frying pan.
  6. Blend cornstarch with a little water until smooth in a cup; stir into mixture in pan.
  7. Cook, stirring, until sauce thickens and boils 3 minutes.
  8. Serve on noodles.
