Bourbon And Rum Brownies With Pecans
- 1 (23 oz.) pkg. Duncan Hines brownie mix (with liquid chocolate packet)
- 3 eggs
- 1 c. chopped pecans
- 1/2 c. softened oleo or butter
- 2 c. confectioners sugar
- 6 Tbsp. bourbon
- 3 Tbsp. rum
- 6 oz. semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 4 Tbsp. oleo or butter
- Preheat oven to 350u0b0.
- Omit water called for on brownie package (you may have to add 1 tablespoon water to mixture before baking). Combine brownie mix, egg, chocolate packet and pecans.
- Recommend a 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.
- Bake according to package instructions. Remove from oven and immediately sprinkle with bourbon.
- Cool completely.
- Combine 1/2 cup softened oleo or butter, sugar and rum.
- Spread evenly over brownies.
- Chill about an hour.
