Sandra's Spiced Tea Recipe
- 2 quarts. water
- 4 sm. tea bags
- 2 sticks cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon whole cloves
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 lg. can unsweetened pineapple juice
- 1 sm. c. frzn orange juice concentrated (mixed with 3 cans water)
- Tie cinnamon and cloves in cheesecloth.
- Bring water to boil.
- Add in cinnamon and cloves; simmer about 10 min.
- Remove from heat.
- Add in tea bags, cover and steep for 5 min.
- Remove tea bags and spices.
- Add in sugar and cold to room temperature.
- Add in juices.
- Store in refrigerator till ready to serve.
- Before serving, ream 1 lemon and add in juice to mix.
- Slice another lemon and add in to tea while heating.
- Remove lemon slices from warm tea before serving.
- 30 (1/2 c.) servings.
