Ground Pork Burritos
- 1 lb. lean ground pork
- 1/4 c. chopped yellow onion
- 1 c. green onions (including tops), cut in 1-inch pieces
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 Tbsp. soy sauce
- 1 tsp. sesame oil
- 1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 6 flour tortillas
- 6 Tbsp. hoisin or plum sauce (available in Chinese section of supermarket)
- Saute pork with chopped yellow onion until browned and cooked through.
- Add green onions, garlic, soy sauce and sesame oil. Cook on medium-low for 2 minutes, or until onions are tender. Warm tortillas at 300u0b0 for a few minutes.
- Spread 1 tablespoon hoisin or plum sauce on each tortilla so meat mixture is snugly enclosed.
- Garnish with sliced pepper and serve with fried rice, if desired.
- Serve immediately, passing extra sauce on the side.
