Beef Short Ribs - Barbecue
- 3 to 4 lb. beef short ribs
- 1 Tbsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. red pepper
- 1/2 tsp. black pepper
- 2 Tbsp. vinegar
- 2 small onions, sliced
- 2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp. paprika
- 1 tsp. chili powder
- 3/4 c. catsup
- 3/4 c. catsup water
- Have beef ribs be the size of serving pieces.
- Season them with the mixture of salt and both peppers.
- Place in large skillet and brown in hot oil.
- Cover with sliced onions after you have placed the ribs in a large baking dish.
- Combine remaining ingredients and pour over the meat.
- (Catsup water just means put the 3/4 cup water in the same measuring cup that you used to put in the 3/4 cup catsup.) Cover tightly; bake in a moderate (350u0b0) oven for about 1 1/2 hours.
- Baste occasionally.
- Uncover the last 15 minutes to brown.
- Serves 6.
