Mom's Stuffed Cabbage Recipe
- 8-10 lg. cabbage leaves
- 1 c. cooked rice
- 1 1/2 lbs. grnd beef
- 1/2 c. celery, minced
- 1/2 c. onion, minced
- 3/4 teaspoon garlic pwdr
- Seasoning salt
- Salt and pepper
- Cook cabbage in salted water till tender.
- Mix remaining ingredients.
- Divide meat mix among cabbage leaves.
- Fold insides of leaves and roll up.
- Place in a baking dish or possibly small roaster seam side down.
- Mix sauce ingredients and pour over cabbage rolls.
- Bake at 325 degrees for 3-4 hrs, basting now and then.
- Serve with mashed potatoes.
