Grandpa's Baked Apples, Sugar Free Recipe
- 2 baking apples (Jonathans work best)
- Preheat oven at 375 degrees.
- Core the apples and wash too.
- You need a can of diet Shasta, strawberry flavor.
- Place apples in a 9x13 inch pan.
- Fill centers with pop.
- Bake apples for 40 to 45 min till apples have split skins.
- Spoon pop over apples.
- This keeps the apples from drying out.
- When apples are done, sprinkle a bit of cinnamon over apples.
- Serve hot or possibly chilled.
- Best when served hot.
- Serves 2 people.
