Cold Sliced Sirloin with Tomatoes and Garlic

  1. Sprinkle beef with salt and pepper.
  2. Melt butter with 1/4 cup olive oil in large pan.
  3. Add beef and cook until medium rare, about 20 minutes.
  4. Cool for at least 3 hours in the refrigerator.
  5. Add olive oil, basil, tomato and garlic to a bowl.
  6. Mix and let sit for at least 30 minutes.
  7. Slice steak as thin as possible and serve with tomato sauce.
